Tusu Tusubira

Tusu joined the Rotary Club of Kampala North, Uganda, during 1990. He is passionate about service to the community and people development, especially the youth. His Rotary roles have included the TRF Cadre (ongoing), as well as the RI Strategic Planning and Programs of Scale committees. He continues to serve within and outside Rotary in various capacities at national, regional, and international levels. He is married to Past Assistant Governor Dorcas of the Rotary Club of Sunrise Kampala, a former Executive Chair of the Rotary Fellowship for Empowering Women. They are both deeply involved in supporting communities through and outside Rotary and are jointly major donors Level III. They enjoy traveling and meeting people.
Professionally, Tusu is a retired academic, and now a senior founding partner of Knowledge Consulting Ltd (https://kcl.co.ug/). His skills cover the overlap among technology insights and foresights; leadership development; and organisational transformation. He is a Registered Engineer (Uganda); a Chartered Engineer (UK); current Patron of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers; and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Swedish Programme for ICT in Developing Regions (SPIDER).
