- Venetian by birth, Medical Doctor & Rehabilitation Expert: Specializing in sports medicine and rehabilitative medicine from the University of Padua.
- Hospital Leadership: Served for over 20 years as the Director of a large Hospital Rehabilitation Department in the Province of Belluno, treating patients with neurological and orthopedic disabilities. Although he retired, he continues to work as a consulting physician and volunteers with associations for disabled and disadvantaged people.
Rotarian since 2009, District Governor in 2019/2020, he has held various positions in Rotary at both club and district levels.
One of the hallmark projects of the club is a social inclusion project. Members take people with disabilities on mountain excursions using special wheelchairs. More than 500 people have participated in 10 years.
Speaker and facilitator at the Assemblies of all Italian Districts, he has participated in the training and facilitation of the Italian Governors of the last four years.
He was Membership Coordinator for zone 14 (Italy, Malta and San Marino). Appointed Board Director of Rotary International for the two-year period 2026 – 2028.
Ballotta is a friend of Paul Harris and with his wife Rossella they are Major Donors and Benefactors of The Rotary Foundation.
