GALA EVENING On Saturday, 12 September 2026, we warmly invite you to a memorable Rotary Gala Evening on board the iconic Steamship SS Rotterdam  Known as “La Grande Dame”, the Steamship SS Rotterdam has a long and rich history. Built in Rotterdam and now proudly back in her home city, this legendary flagship of the Holland America Line offers a truly unique setting for a special evening. With stunning views of the Rotterdam skyline, this will be a Gala Evening to remember. The evening begins at 19.00 hrs with a warm welcome with a drink on board. From 20.00 hrs. to 21.30 hrs, guests will enjoy dinner in an elegant and atmospheric setting. At 21.30 hrs, dessert will be served, followed by “Under the Boardwalk” — the perfect moment to continue the evening with music, dancing and conversation. The programme will conclude at 23.30 hrs. In the spirit of our Summit theme To Belong – The Power of Connection and Action, this Gala Evening is more than a festive night out. It is a special opportunity to come together, strengthen friendships,celebrate shared purposes.
